Cisco 880 Series Advanced IP Services License

This Cisco 880 Series Advanced IP Services License (part number SL-880-AIS=) can be used to upgrade the security capabilities of certain 880 Series routers.

Note: This upgrade is required to use Cisco IOS Content Filtering, but organizations must also request the Cisco 880 Series IOS Content Filtering license (part number SL-CNFIL-88X-1Y=) to enable it.

The upgrade includes support for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), allowing for:

1. IPv6 multicast
2. IPv6 addressing architecture
3. IPv6 name resolution
4. IPv6 statistics
5. IPv6 translation
6. IPv6 DHCP
7. IPsec over IPv6 connections

It also includes support for the Cisco IOS Firewall and integrated threat control.

Product Service and Support

Cisco will provide five years of hardware and software service and support ("SMARTnet") for this product.

Obtaining This Product

Cisco donation processing takes 6 to 8 weeks upon approval. After your request is processed, you will receive a product authorization key (PAK) through standard mail. You will be directed to enter this key and your router serial number on the Cisco website, which will provide you with an activation key. Entering this key through your router's command-line interface will activate your licenses.
